2012 GAS60 Updates
Updated 1-25-12
Registration opens Feb 1st 2012. We will have a 60 boat limit, just the same as the previous two years.
Camping
Unfortunately the Missouri Department of Conservation doesn't allow camping at the Jerome Access (start of race). There are however two great accesses close to the start of the GAS60 that do allow camping. Bell Chute and Paydown both offer awesome primitive camping and easy access to the Gasconade River. Rollins Ferry and Pointers Creek also offer camping but are a little further from the start of the race. As far as I know, camping at all of these locations is FREE! Please make sure you represent the paddling community in the best possible way by pick up all of your trash and keeping all vehicles in designated areas. Remember ash is trash!
Jerome Lodging
There are many hotels close to Jerome. Depending on where you driving from, either Rolla or St. Roberts will be the best place to find a hotel. The link above should help you with your choice.
